We not only sell the products shown below , we also fit them, so we are aware of the different requirements in different situations. (Pictured at left is the combination unit). There is no middle man involved so we are able to offer quality products at a reasonable price.

Our prices are very competitive. We only sell quality products made from powder coated 1.6 mm mild steel powder coated to prevent rust.

Our products actually do the job that they are designed for. Some products made of lightweight material such as stainless steel that you can bend with your hands do not work in some conditions and aluminium dampers will disintegrate with the heat of a chimney fire as shown in the photo below:-

Shown below are some examples of our dampers actually fitted to the top of a chimney.

Our chimney dampers prevent birds, possums, bees, insects and rain from coming down your chimney when the fireplace is not being used.

Our chimney dampers make your ducted heating more efficient by preventing the heat from escaping through the chimney when the fire is not burning.

We have two sizes of dampers :- Most chimneys  9" x 9" (230mm x 230mm) and the larger opening 13" x 9" (330mm  x 230mm) The 9 x9 is shown above and the 13 x 9 below.

For chimneys with an angled top we have an out of level damper, as pictured below

Our wind cowls prevent wind from blowing down your chimney when your fire is burning. The situations where this occurs are as follow :

Trees very close to the chimney.

Roof line higher than the chimney.

Chimney on a single storey room, where the rest of the house is double storey

The base of the combination damper and cowl is 370mm x 370 mm (14 1/2" square) and will fit most standard chimneys.  If the chimney is any wider it is necessary to cover part of the chimney opening to enable the base to sit securely. This may cause problems with smoke curling back.

Most chimneys are 230mm sqare or  the rectangular opening of 230mm x 330mm.

We offer professional chimney cleaning using specialised covers, cloths, wire brushes and industrial vacuum cleaner for a clean and efficient job. - Most areas $80

We also do flue cleaning for slow combustion heaters as well as repairsto most brands of heaters.

All of our products are manufactured in Melbourne from 1.6mm mild steel which is powder coated on completion to prevent rust. We use stainless steel cable and quality chain to enable the damper to be closed or opened from the fireplace
